Counselor/Psychotherapist Boston Main Campus
The Northeastern University Behavioral Health Counselor's primary responsibility is to provide psychological counseling services to Northeastern University students. These services will include psychological evaluation, crisis intervention and brief psychotherapy. The position may also involve outreach activities to the Northeastern University community and collaboration with various support services within the University. The counselor will be responsible for making appropriate referrals for psychopharmacological evaluation and external ongoing counseling, and for referral to emergency mental health services, when appropriate. Time spent amongst the various clinical service activities may shift in proportion to changes in service demands at any given time of the year. The counselor will often work closely with University academic departments and Student Affairs, and will collaborate with medical clinicians at the UHCS as appropriate, all in the interest of providing the best possible team-oriented health care to Northeastern students.
Programs Events & Operations Coordinator Boston Main Campus
The Programs, Events and Operations Coordinator is an integral member of the John D. O’Bryant African American Institute team whose goal is to facilitate access, retention and successful graduation of African American students at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Under the direction of the institute Director, Associate Director and the Student Outreach and Communications manager, the role of the Programs, Events and Operations Coordinator will be to develop and promote cultural, educational, social, and recreational events, signature programs and activities focused on student involvement and engagement. The Programs, Events and Operations Coordinator will coordinate student, faculty, staff and outside group reservations, scheduling (EMS System), and maintenance of the Institute in general and the Cabral Center and the new Student Study spaces specifically. The Programs, Events and Operations Coordinator will be responsible for administering the evaluations and assessment functions of the Institute signature programs and across the Institute. The Programs, Events and Operations Coordinator will provide support for Black student organizations and assist with contract negotiations in conjunction with NU Legal Council; The Programs, Events and Operations Coordinator will also coordinate overall operations of the John D. O’Bryant African American Institute including ensuring student access and use of the Institute space.
Research Program Coordinator, DoD Programs Burlington, MA Campus
The Research Program Coordinator, DoD Programs (RPC) is responsible for project deliverables management and tracking across an active and growing program of Department of Defense (DoD) and other Defense and Security funded research contracts. This position reports to the EDDP. The RPC will perform diversified independent, administrative, and operational duties as a member of the Defense Operations Research Program Management Office to assure the comprehensive smooth and efficient execution of funded research contracts. The RPC will take initiative to work autonomously on behalf of the EDDP and Research Mangers to complete responsibilities within the scope of the position. S/he will work in close collaboration with Research Mangers in the management, planning, and coordination of the ongoing fiscal, administrative, and program deliverable activities across a geographically dispersed portfolio of programs and projects. The RPC will establish, monitor, and maintain systems for efficient handling of program functions, communication, data management, and special projects. This is a fast-paced position with a variety of programs to monitor and will require interaction with internal Northeastern and Kostas Research Institute researchers, the Northeastern University Research Enterprise Systems (NU-RES) staff, external university and industry subcontractors, and funding agency program managers and contracts officers. The successful candidate will have experience and familiarity with DoD acquisitions, contracting, financial management, and project support to research projects. KRI LLC DoD Systems Administrator Burlington, MA Campus
The KRI LLC DoD Systems Administrator (DSA) will set up and maintain SIPR. Key responsibilities will be maintaining SIPRNet capabilities, SIPR Room security, safe inventories, and control of cryptographic controlled items (CCI) and secure phone capability. He/she will serve as the alternate classified document custodian and courier. The DSA will ensure SIPR operations comply with current DoD and Services Information Assurance (IA) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) policies and instructions that impact SIPR assets and operations. The DSA will perform Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) voice and data security oversight and Information Assurance. He/she will maintain classified network operations using Cisco switches, router, and firewalls and must plan, evaluate, coordinate, and perform installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements including minor IM/IT equipment repair and upgrades. Additional responsibilities include assisting with tracking, inventory and marking of SIPR assets and the management and support of IT programs that support audio-visual information, printing, database management, application software, links to the global information grid (GIG), and networks interfaces. This position is located on Northeastern University’s Innovation Campus at Burlington, MA with travel to the main university campus in downtown Boston and travel elsewhere as satellite locations are brought onboard. The position is with KRI, LLC, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Northeastern University, and will report to the KRI LLC FSO. The Information Systems Security Manager at KRI, LLC (ISSM) position provides an excellent and unique opportunity for an ISSM Professional to function in an academic and research driven environment. The ISSM provides direct support to classified program requirements and unclassified, controlled unclassified information (CUI) program. This is a very hands-on role which encompasses establishing and administering KRI classified accredited automated information systems and the KRI unclassified facility network.
