About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

The Office of the Dunton Family Dean and the Center for Health Policy and Healthcare Research is seeking an individual to fill the role of Administrative Coordinator. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the administrative and financial activities of the Center for Health Policy and Healthcare Research. This individual provides diversified support to the Center director and other affiliated faculty for teaching and related educational activities, including preparing, editing, and proofreading manuscripts for journal submissions. The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the Center’s website and newsletter content creation and updates, and is also responsible for monitoring funded research projects in terms of expenses and deliverables. The Administrative Coordinator advises all DMSB faculty on research proposal development, submission, budgeting, expenditures and grant closeouts. Serves as DMSB liaison and subject expert with NU-RES on all sponsored research activities. The Administrative Coordinator provides support to the DMSB Dean’s Office for AACSB accreditation and assurance of learning and other faculty support activities. This is a highly visible position that requires outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a high level of attention to detail. The successful candidate will be highly motivated person who is excited by challenges and being part of a highly engaged team of faculty and staff.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

Minimum of three years related experience with a demonstration of increasing responsibilities.

Effective time management, highly organized, and detail oriented.

Exceptional multitasking, organizational, and communication skills.

Superior communication, planning, and customer (internal and external) service skills.

Demonstrated integrity, dependability, judgment, teambuilding and resourcefulness to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with multiple groups.

Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Must have excellent computer and professional skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database management. Excellent Excel skills required.

Previous experience working with budgets and/or grants a plus and preferred.

Experience with Banner reporting system preferred and interest in health care is welcome.
