About the Opportunity:

This position will work with the Assistant Athletic Director for Business & Finance on the overall management and financial integrity of the Department of Athletics & Recreation. 

Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: process daily Athletic Business Office transactions primarily in the Concur system, maintain accurate accounting records; reconcile budget statements; track outstanding receivables, make capital purchases, manage phone/ipad plans, review and submit all contracts and assist with internal and external financial reporting requirements.

 

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or sport management or related field; Preferred qualifications include, knowledge of Concur and Banner systems, demonstrated understanding of good business practices at collegiate institutions; interest in intercollegiate sport and recreation, strong work ethic, self-starter.


Preferred Qualifications:

 Proficiency in fiscal reporting, outstanding organizational and communication skills, advanced computer skills; strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive records and departmental information.
