About the Opportunity:

This postdoc will focus on (hierarchical) multi-agent reinforcement learning (MARL). The goal will be to develop new MARL methods that are both general and scale well (in terms of the horizon and the problem space). The current plan is to use hierarchy for this purpose, but the type of method is open based on the postdoc’s background and interests. The methods will be tested on common benchmark problems as well as simulated aerial combat. As a result, there will be opportunities for cooperative MARL as well as mixed (cooperative and competitive) MARL.
