About the Opportunity:

The Institute for Experiential Robotics (IER) focuses on research and development to advance the field of robotics for enriching collective human-robot experiences. IER seeks a Senior Research Engineer with expertise in modern fabrication and integration approaches.

Responsibilities:

Core responsibility will be to support existing projects with design reviews, complex fabrications, and integration support. Knowledge of modern robotics technology is a necessity. This position will also participate in external professional activities, i.e., publication of research, attendance/participation in professional conferences, etc.

Qualifications:

Must have a MS in Robotic Systems Development or equivalent. Experience with CAD/CAM technologies and manual fabrication; electronics; and robotics software. Project management experience, including supervisory, budgetary and general administrative skills are pluses but are not required.
