About the Opportunity:

Sr. Content Marketing Manager will develop a college wide content strategy to fit within the college messaging framework and deliver key messages across college audiences, engage audiences and creatively solve content needs for the College. The Content strategist will both develop written and visual content and oversee staff that generate content to meet content needs.

 

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include creating and managing social media campaigns and newsletters; monitoring engagement and analyzing data; managing content marketing campaigns; overseeing marketing print collateral, implementing SEO best practices; and building strategic partnerships.

In addition to strategizing this position will be responsible for creating compelling articles, product descriptions, social media content and web copy. The goal is to expand Khoury College’s digital footprint and drive more value through online content that meets our messaging guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of producing pieces that increase engagement and drive leads. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. The successful candidate should also be detail-oriented and committed to meeting tight deadlines.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management
  • Five years work experience as a content manager
  • knowledge of Content Management Systems, like WordPress preferred
  • Experience using Adobe creative suite
  • Experience with print design
  • Experience using social media for business
  • Strong multi-tasking skills in an ever changing environment
  • Bachelor’s in Marketing, Journalism, English or relevant field
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including SEO, email marketing and web analytics
  • Exceptional writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively
  • The ability to consistently meet ever changing tight deadlines
  • At least four years of experience writing in a business setting
