About the Opportunity:

 

Responsibilities:

The Laboratory of Neuroanatomy and Behavior (PI Rebecca Shansky) is requesting applications for a lab manager/technician position. We are a small/medium-sized lab that studies sex differences in the neural circuits that mediate stress responding and aversive learning. We are looking for someone to help us stay organized and productive by facilitating general lab activities and assisting with ongoing projects

Qualifications:

Competitive applicants will have a Bachelor's degree in neuroscience or closely related field and at least 1 year of experience in a rodent neuroscience lab. Outstanding organizational skills are a must, and experience with stereotaxic surgeries, fluorescence microscopy, and immunohistochemistry techniques are especially sought
