About the Opportunity:

The Khoury College of Computer Sciences invites applications for the position of Part-time teaching faculty at the Vancouver campus, conveniently located at 333 Seymour St. Northeastern University in Vancouver is our first location in British Columbia and second in Canada. [EB1] 

Northeastern offers industry-aligned graduate programs designed to help working professionals achieve their career goals. At present we are enrolling students in the MSCS program and the Align MS in CS, which provides an onramp to students who did not study CS as undergraduates.  The goal of Align is to broaden the diversity of demographics and thought in CS.



Develop and teach graduate courses in computer sciences.


Candidates must hold a PhD in Computer or related field from an accredited institution by the start date. Teaching experience is also required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Successful candidates will have demonstrated an expert grasp of knowledge of the field and be creative in their approach to teaching in an environment of experiential education. Strong written, oral and interpersonal skills are required in order to communicate effectively with diverse and exceptional students in person and online. Successful applicants are willing to teach in the evening. Candidates who work in the Vancouver area are in are highly desired.  There is the opportunity to teach on a regular basis and to move to full time faculty.


Salary Grade:

Compensation is commensurate with qualifications.
