About the Opportunity:

Under the Associate Dean, Student Experience in the College of Professional Studies (CPS), the CPS Student Engagement Manager oversees social media strategy, student engagement events (including multiple orientation programs per year: undergraduate and graduate), alumni outreach and assisting the Communications team in highlighting current CPS students and alumni.

Responsibilities:

He/she is responsible for gathering and posting content for CPS social media and providing Faculty and staff assistance with event logistics and marketing for Professional Programs, the Graduate School of Education and potentially the Global Pathway programs

Qualifications:

 

Candidates for the Student Engagement Manager position must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a track record of strong academic performance. Three to five years of experience in an event, marketing or events planning capacity. The ideal candidate will have worked in a customer/student focused environment with digital/social media marketing insights and experience.

Preferred knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator or editing software, Hootsuite and G-Suite. This role will compile communications to students through web platform and other outlets. Detail oriented, multi-tasker that can lead projects and work collaboratively across University Divisions. Effective communication skills that can work well with students, staff, Faculty, Alumni and external partners.
