About the Opportunity:

The Supply Chain and Information Management (SCIM) Group of the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts invites applications for tenured or tenure-track positions, with employment beginning in the 2020-21 academic year. Qualified candidates at the Full Professor level will be considered for an Operations and Supply Chain Management position. Candidates at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor rank will be considered for an MIS position.

 

Responsibilities:

The Group currently has 8 full-time, research active, tenured or tenure-track faculty, 12 full-time non-tenure track faculty, and 5 full-time visiting faculty. The Group emphasizes a strong research program that targets top-tier journals and a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Of particular interest is data analytics and its impact on business.  Research support, including data availability, is excellent. Primary teaching responsibilities are in the area of operations and supply chain management, management information systems, and business analytics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

 

Qualifications:

Candidates are required to hold a doctorate in Operations Management, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, Information Management, or a related field by the start date. We seek candidates who are committed to excellence in research and teaching. Experienced candidates should have a significant research record and leadership potential. Candidates must have backgrounds in or commitment to working with diverse student populations and/or in culturally diverse work and educational environments.
