About the Opportunity:

The Communication Studies Department at Northeastern University invites applications for a one-year non-tenure-track position as a Visiting Lecturer. We seek a dynamic instructor prepared to teach some combination of the following courses: Communication and Identity, Health Communication, New Media Communication, Organizational Communication, Public Speaking, Social Change Communication, and/or Sports Communication.

Responsibilities:

This position carries a 3-3 teaching load with the possibility of teaching summer classes for extra compensation.

Qualifications:

To be considered, candidates must have: (1) A Ph.D. in Communications or a related field, (2) three years of undergraduate teaching experience, and (3) documented evidence of teaching effectiveness.
