About the Opportunity:



 The research technician will be hired to conduct research. The position will primarily involve recruiting participants for behavioral, neuroimaging (fMRI), and physiological (cardiac, electrodermal, respiratory) data collection. The position will also involve coordinating and managing undergraduate research assistants and working with graduate students and postdocs to fulfill research goals. The research technician will have opportunities to present research findings at conferences (e.g. as poster presentations). The research technician may also be involved in data quality checks, data preprocessing and analysis, and supporting manuscript preparation for research findings. Additional duties may include lab maintenance (website, coordinating lab meetings, writing summaries of group meetings, contributing to a friendly and respectful lab culture).


 BS/BA in psychology is preferred. A BS/BA in a potentially related field (neuroscience, computer science, linguistics, etc.) with evidence of coursework in psychology will also be considered
